A story from a 1967 edition of the Dunstable Gazette bemoaning the decline of the tomato growing industry in the town. 50-60 years ago Dunstable tomatoes were widely renowned as being among the best you could buy. Featured in the photograph is Terence Headey one of the few remaining growers at the time.
